MY first printer arrived DOA and was replaced under warranty. 2 Months after the 1 year warranty ran out, the printer has a clogged printer head. I have a $1000 quote to replace the print module from a 'Certified Epson Repair Center' but upon further review they are unwilling to proceed with any repairs saying, "This is no good. The way Epson designed this particular line, it?s virtually impossible to replace the simplest of parts, unlike the other models. Adding a scanner on top in such a tight space makes it even more difficult."
I've very disappointed. The printer looked great and functioned well but this is a fundamental design flaw. Unless you can get your money out of this machine in one year, do not purchase. I now have a $2500 piece of scrap.
Disadvantages: Unrepairable, Poorly Designed, Under Tested
