For many years Sony was a leading manufacturer and supplier of dye-sublimation printers and provider of photo solutions for retail, portrait and event photographers. In 2011 Sony sold their printer division to DNP Photo. DNP continues to produce media photo paper supplies for several legacy Sony printers. Imaging Spectrum has sold and supported Sony printers since 2002 (anyone remember the UP-DR100.)
