One of the first things you will notice about the CE1 is it’s compact size. The printer is 13″ wide, 7″ tall and 16″ in depth.  The CE1 only weighs about 30 pounds with media loaded. This printer is great for on-site printing at events where you need to produce 8×10 or 8×12 prints. You can also print a square 8×8 image. We have had some customers produce Instagram themed square prints using Darkroom Software and the CE1 photo printer. There are separate media types for 8×10 and 8×12. Once you load up the CE1 it will produce 120 8×10 prints or 100 8×12 prints. The printer is front loading and the paper and ribbon are very easy to change out. The CE1 is not the fastest horse in the barn but respectable at about 30 seconds for an 8×10 glossy print. Cost per print is competitive at $0.92 for an 8×10 and $1.05 for an 8×12.

Great Printer for The Money!!

Advantages: If you need a fast reliable printer then search no further. I use this for proofing as well as onsite printing. It is very easy to use and set up & works great. Small foot print and does`nt take up much space at all. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who needs a fast reliable photo printer.

Disadvantages: I would not really call this a disadvantage but you will have to tweak the color settings just a little or to your liking, No big deal and not a deal breaker.

When it is working it is wonderful printer, but that when its working.A few years ago I purchased the 1245. It broke down on the very first job. I had to make them send me another printer. Best I can say about it is that it was temperament at best. I had to constantly down load drivers... in the middle of the job the color would start to go weird. Tech told me that my USB cord was cheap and that why that was happing. When the machine became too expenses to repair...I was stupid enough to buy the new CE because the price was good...which bring me to the present day. The first one...the door would not lock...they send me another...second one the paper load light would not come on.... the third one (after I ask them to preform a quality control check) the paper load light will not come on. I am at present waiting on Imaging Spectrum and Sinfonia to return my phone call.

Good printer, reliable, havent had an issue with it. I bought this two years ago and havent printed much on it, it sits with paper and ribbon loaded in a closet. when i need to print a 8x10 i pull it out and print, it just works.

Advantages: small and easy to use

Disadvantages: none that i have found over my two years of ownership.

I have printed thousands of prints with no issues (except a couple "operator error" mistakes) Great color (with a little photoshop tweaking, not sure if it is my monitor or the printer), fast, inexpensive. Sold many thousands of prints for $15-$20 that only cost me $0.78. GREAT for events and sports/dance studio Memory Mates and packages. Even sold 8x10's to corporations.

Advantages: Fast, portable, inexpensive, reliable and durable. Easy to operate. They even have a program so you can print a folder while you have dinner.

Disadvantages: None.
